Deoband, a bike riding couple was seriously injured in a head on collision between a bike and a car on the highway near Sakhan Kala. Passersby present on the spot took the injured couple to Deoband Community Health Center through an ambulance. According to the information received, Jatoul resident Mehak Singh son of Hari Singh, age about 44 years, was passing through the highway with his wife Rambhateri on bike number UA 08 H 4169. As soon as he reached near the Golden Dhaba located at Sakhan Kala, an unknown high speed car driver coming from behind hit him hard due to which he was seriously injured and fell away from the highway and the bike was shattered. While the car driver managed to escape from the spot with the car. Seeing the horrific road accident on the highway, Hariom alias Monty, the village head of Sakhan Khurd, who was passing by, with the help of passersby, took the bleeding couple to the Community Health Center Deoband in an ambulance. The condition of the couple riding the bike is said to be critical. Seeing their condition, the Deoband doctors have referred them to a higher center.
