Anuppur, it is as follows that on 17-10-24, the complainant Lakhan Kewat father Laxman Kewat age 61 years resident of Jamuniha police station Bijuri came to the police station and submitted a complaint to the effect that he is a retired employee of the colliery. 02-03 years ago, when he suddenly needed money, he borrowed Rs 25000/- on interest from Parvez Akhtar Ansari resident Manendragarh, after which he got trapped in the trap of the said moneylender who deceived the complainant and kept his passbook, checkbook, Aadhar card, ATM and mobile in his possession. The complainant also became dependent on the said moneylender for his daily needs. After retirement in June 2024, about Rs 30 lakh of retirement amount came in his account, out of which Rs 28,48,000/- was usurped by the accused Parvez Akhtar Ansari in the form of interest and principal from the complainant. When he protested, he was threatened with death. He threatened to implicate him in cases like cheque bounce and rape and to kill the entire family. Based on the incident description, a case number 249/24 under sections 420,384,386,406 of the same and 3,4 of the Loan Act was registered against the above accused at Bijuri police station and taken up for investigation. Respected Superintendent of Police Anuppur Shri Moti ur Rahman ji directed for immediate arrest of the accused, in compliance of which Bijuri police arrested accused Parvez Akhtar Ansari father late Mohammad Hadish Ansari resident of Mohar Para Manendragarh and presented him in judicial custody in the honourable court. Passbook, chequebook, PAN card, Aadhar card, ATM and mobile of complainant Lakhan Kewat and blank cheques signed by the complainant were recovered from the possession of the accused, which have been seized as evidence and taken into police custody. In the above action, Bijuri Police Inspector Vikas Singh, SI Sone Singh Paraste, SSI Vipin Bihari Rai, PR. Satish Mishra, R. Lakshman, Anand, Anil M.R. Sangam Tomar played an important role.
