Shajapur, Under the campaign being run under the direction of Superintendent of Police Yashpal Singh Rajput to take strict action against criminals dealing in illegal drugs, the police has arrested an interstate smuggler and recovered smack worth lakhs of rupees from his possession. According to the information received, Kalapipal police received information from an informer on March 09, 2025 that a person is carrying illegal drug smack from Chakrod side on a Honda Shine motorcycle through a dirt road near Kalapipal soybean plant. Taking immediate action on the information, Kalapipal police reached the dirt road near the soybean plant and surrounded and stopped the suspect Haribaksh father Amar Singh Tanwar age 26 years resident of village Dob police station Bhojpur district Rajgarh and upon searching, illegal drug smack weighing 76.62 grams was recovered from him, on which the accused was arrested. The cost of smack seized from the possession of the accused is around Rs.7.5 lakh. The accused used to bring illegal smack from Rajasthan and sell it in Madhya Pradesh. Station in-charge of Kalapipal police station Inspector Manohar Singh Jaget, Sub Inspector Ravi Bhandari, Sub Inspector Tejprakash Bohra, Sub Inspector Muneshwar Bhagat, Prar Vivek Goswami, Prar Vishal Patel, Prar Rameshwar Jatav, Constable Vedprakash Parmar, Constable Nayan Yadav, Constable Sumit Patel, Constable Abhishek, Constable Omprakash Verma played a key role in arresting the accused.
