Shajapur, Bharatiya Kisan Sangh workers planted six thousand saplings in different villages of the district in a single day. Also took a pledge to plant one lakh saplings in 450 villages. Tehsil Minister Gyan Singh Gurjar said that 6 thousand saplings were planted in Shajapur district on Friday, under which Shajapur Tehsil Unit Committee planted 400 in village Ala Umrod, 350 in Setkhedi, 550 in Lahori, 445 in Ladawad, 400 in Dendla, 55 in Ranthbhanwar, 50 in Sunera, 300 in Khoria, fruit-bearing and shady saplings of neem, mango, jamun in Berchha and other villages. Gurjar said that Bharatiya Kisan Sangh will plant 15 thousand saplings from August 1 to August 15. District women coordinator Hemlata Nagar etc. were present during the plantation.
