Saharanpur, National President of Bharatiya Kisan Union Verma and West Pradesh Mukti Morcha Bhagat Singh Verma while addressing a meeting at the District Office Chilkana Road said that the Annadaata farmers of the country have been protesting by camping at Shambhu Border, Khanori Border for the last 10 months. He said that the farmers of the country do not want power. Annadaata farmers just want a profitable price for their crops. For the last one month, the honest farmer leader of the country Sardar Jagjit Singh Dhalewal has been on a hunger strike for the problems of the farmers of the country and is close to death. Despite this, the Prime Minister of the country Narendra Modi has time to meet the families of heroes and heroines but he does not have time for the Annadaata farmers of the country. Which is unfortunate. Bhagat Singh Verma said that due to the continuous increase in the prices of fertilizers, seeds, pesticides, diesel, labor and agricultural equipment, farming has become expensive for the farmers. Now farmers are not even able to survive by farming. The country's young generation is getting disillusioned with farming. Which is a danger bell for the coming times. He said that if the farmer survives, the country will survive. Former Prime Minister Chaudhary Charan Singh had said that the path to the country's progress passes through farms and barns. He did a lot of work to strengthen the village farmer and agriculture by setting up small industries. Which today the country's Prime Minister Modi has completely forgotten. He does not care about the farmers who provide food. Bhagat Singh Verma said that today the biggest need of the time is that to strengthen agriculture, farmers should get a profitable price for their crops. MNREGA scheme should be directly linked to farming and laborers should be made available to farmers, all loans of farmers should be eliminated, MSP should be made profitable and a guarantee law should be made. To save the country's food provider farmers, a National Income Commission should be formed to make their income equal to that of a fourth class employee, the profitable price of sugarcane should be declared immediately as ₹ 700 per quintal, the outstanding sugarcane payment from sugar mills and the interest on the delayed sugarcane payment in the past years should be immediately given to the sugarcane farmers. According to the huge budget of the country, education and medical facilities should be made free for all the people of the country. Prime Minister Modi should solve the problems by talking to the farmers who are continuously protesting. So that the country and the farmers can be saved. The meeting was chaired by National Treasurer of Bharatiya Kisan Union Verma Rajendra Chaudhary and conducted by State General Secretary Asim Malik. National Advisor Hafiz Murtaza Tyagi, State Vice President Pandit Neeraj Kapil, State Organization Minister Dharmveer Chaudhary, State Vice President Mohammad Zaheer Turki, State Secretary Rishipal Gurjar, National Working Committee Member Rajat Sharma, Mandal Incharge Dushyant Singh, Mandal Vice President Kripal Singh Chaudhary, District Organization Minister Surendra Singh Advocate, Mandal Vice President Sardar Gulwinder Singh Bunty, District Vice President Wasim Zaheerpur, District Minister Mukarram Pradhan etc. participated in the meeting.
