In view of the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, Behat area officer Shashi Prakash Sharma, along with Mirzapur police station in-charge Inspector Pravesh Singh and Badshahibagh police post incharge Yashpal Som, along with ITBP personnel and police force, visited the area's villages Maganpura, Janipur, Faizabad, Arifpur, Fatehpur and Badshahibagh etc. Patrolled the villages on foot and issued strict instructions warning those who indulge in hooliganism in the elections that if anyone tries to create hooliganism, strict action will be taken against him. Behat area officer Shashi Prakash Sharma said that in view of the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, the area has been patrolled with heavy police force.
