Saharanpur, students are very indifferent about taking admission in government schools in the district. There are 1438 council schools in the district. Out of these, 274 schools have less than 50 or 20 students. District Basic Education Officer Dr. Vinita Goyal said that the situation is worse in Block Gangoh and Nakud. She said that the teachers in the schools are also not up to the standard. Somewhere there are only two teachers for 300 children and somewhere there are only six teachers for 100 children. BSA said that despite repeated warnings, the teachers failed to get students admitted in the schools according to their capacity. Basic education has gone off track in the entire district.
