Shajapur, Collector and District Magistrate Dinesh Jain has imposed a complete ban on the use of loudspeakers in the entire revenue boundary area of Shajapur district under Section 144 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973, keeping in view the examination period organized by the Board of Secondary Education.

Keeping in view the annual examinations in the schools, Collector Mr. Jain has issued necessary instructions for the control of noise pollution caused by various social, religious, political events, functions and loud speakers beyond the permissible limits and from various sources. In which it has been said that no person or group under the revenue limit area of Shajapur will use sound amplifier in any event, procession, rally without the permission of the competent authority. The use of any type of sound amplifier will be completely banned from 10 pm to 6 am under the revenue boundary area of Shajapur district. The use of all types of sound amplifiers within a radius of about 100 meters around schools, colleges and educational centers under the revenue boundary area of Shajapur district will be completely banned. If any person violates this order, he will also be liable for prosecution under section 188 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860. This order will be effective from today 20 February 2023 till further orders.
