Katni, hundreds of people of Bajrang Dal of Katni district took out a huge procession in the city and protested by raising slogans at Subhash Chowk. All of them were protesting against cattle smuggling in the border areas of Katni district.
The protesting Bajrang Dal members alleged that cattle smuggling is at its peak in the border areas of Katni district and the centres of illegal cattle smuggling have become centres of the district. In the district, these three markets including Baragaon, Bakal under Rethi tehsil and Ganiyari village of Dhimarkheda tehsil have become cattle smuggling centres. The work of taking the cattle to the slaughter houses is done by the brokers of the surrounding rural areas by collecting them in large numbers in these three places and by the smugglers of different border areas of the city. In the past also, this information has been given to the government in detail by the organization. On which no action has been taken till date. In which the courage of cattle smugglers is high and they are continuously active in cattle smuggling. Opposing all this, Bajrangis today took out a huge procession and demonstrated vigorously at Subhash Chowk and gave a memorandum to the district officials demanding a ban on all these.
