Supaul, The mining team which went to stop illegal sand mining in Supaul was attacked. Four soldiers including the mining inspector were badly injured in this attack. A woman is also injured, who is being treated at Triveniganj sub-divisional hospital. The incident took place at Lakshminia near toll tax in Triveniganj.

According to mining inspector Iqbal Hussain, an application was filed in the CM's Janata Darbar regarding illegal mining, after which he went to investigate and started taking action to seize the sand and tractor used in illegal mining. Angered by this, the people present there attacked him with sticks and bricks.

In this attack, the mining inspector suffered a head injury while four soldiers were also injured. A woman from the other side was also injured during the incident. All the injured are being given first aid at Triveniganj sub-divisional hospital. After getting information about the incident, the police reached the spot and started investigating the matter.
