Anuppur, Ramnagar police station seized a total of 3650 rupees from two gambling dens and took action against 04 gamblersAnuppur. On 27.08.2024, on the information of the informer, the accused 01- Gaurav Upadhyay father Biharilal Upadhyay age 26 years resident of Ward No. 10 village Semra, 02- Kottu alias Nandlal Kewat father Govind Kewat age 45 years resident of Ward No. 04 Semra police station Ramnagar were caught gambling by betting money on win or loss by using cut cards in playing cards, Rs 1280 cash and 52 playing cards were seized from their bag and possession and action was taken against the accused in Ramnagar police station under crime number 289/24 section 13 Gambling Act. Similarly, on 27.08.2024 at midnight, in village Kuhka Tiraha Khodri No. 02, the accused 01- Pappu Chaudhary, father late Laharu Chaudhary, age 39 years, resident of ward number 08 Badra Khepitola, police station Bhalumad, 02- Chhedu Lal Chaudhary, father late Daddi Chaudhary, age 65 years, resident of ward number 14 Badra, police station Bhalumad, were caught gambling by betting money on win or loss by using cut cards in playing cards. 2350 rupees in cash and 52 playing cards were seized from their bag and possession and action was taken against the accused in Ramnagar police station under crime number 290/24, section 13 of Gambling Act. Thus, in the entire action by Ramnagar police station, a total of 3650 rupees and 52 playing cards were seized from the possession of 04 accused while gambling with money using 52 playing cards and action was taken against the accused under section 13 of Gambling Act.
