Anuppur Police recovered the stolen cash of Lance Naik of Army

Anuppur, Vijay Kumar Tiwari, posted as Lance Naik in Indian Army, father Shri Gajadhar Prasad Tiwari, age 37 years, resident of Ward No. 13 Basti Road Anuppur, lodged a report in Police Station Kotwali Anuppur that he had come to his home district Anuppur on leave and is getting a house constructed in Purani Basti Ward No. 13 of Anuppur, which on 09.12.24 he took out a home loan of Rs. 3 lakh from State Bank of India branch Anuppur and went inside the house after keeping the bag on the trunk of the motorcycle parked in front of the under construction house, meanwhile it was stolen by some unknown person. On the said report, Crime No. 519/24 Section 303 (2) BNS was registered in Police Station Kotwali Anuppur and investigation was done.
Under the direction of Superintendent of Police Anuppur Shri Moti Ur Rehman Ji and under the guidance of Additional Superintendent of Police Anuppur Shri Israr Mansuri, the Kotwali police, with the help of evidence collected from the crime scene and nearby CCTV cameras and cyber cell, traced the accused who committed the theft. The joint team of Kotwali police station and Venkatnagar police post arrested the accused Kunni Kol, father Molei Kol, age 60 years, resident of Manaura police post Venkatnagar and recovered Rs 193800 cash from the possession of the accused.
On the order of the Honorable Court Chief Judicial Magistrate, Anuppur to hand over the seized cash to the applicant, the stolen amount of Rs 193800 was returned to the applicant Shri Vijay Kumar Tiwari by the Kotwali police on Tuesday. Shri Vijay Kumar Tiwari, posted as Lance Naik in the Indian Army, has thanked the Superintendent of Police Anuppur Shri Moti ur Rahman and the Kotwali police for taking prompt action and getting the stolen money back. Superintendent of Police Anuppur has rewarded the team of Sub Inspector Ajay Tekam, Head Constable Shivshankar Prajapati, Ritesh Singh and Assistant Sub Inspector Suresh Ahirwar from Venkatnagar Outpost under the leadership of TI Kotwali Arvind Jain for promptly solving the theft case and arresting the accused.
