Anuppur, Collector and District Magistrate Mr. Harshal Pancholi has issued an order saying that a large number of hotels, lodges and rented houses are operating in district Anuppur, in which outsiders come and stay and reside in rented houses. It is necessary to give proper information of all the persons coming and staying in the hotels, lodges, dharamshalas, night shelters operating in the district to the concerned police stations, which is not being followed, due to which criminal incidents increase and due to not giving information to the concerned police station, there is a possibility of criminals absconding. Keeping in view the above situation, it will be mandatory for the landlord/operator of all the hotels, lodges, dharamshalas, night shelters operating in district Anuppur to give proper information of the persons staying and residing in their establishments to the nearest police station. In this regard, the Collector has directed all the police station in-charges of the district to ensure that the information of the persons residing in hotels, lodges, dharamshalas, night shelters and rented houses in the police station area is maintained.
