Anuppur, On the instructions of Superintendent of Police Anuppur Shri Moti Ur Rehman ji, continuous action is being taken to destroy the illegal drug trade under Operation Prahar against illegal drug trade in the district. In this sequence, on Sunday, Kotwali Anuppur Police raided the house of Ramswaroop Kahar father late Risali Kahar age 48 years resident of Ramsagar Talab Road Purani Basti Anuppur. 80 kg narcotic substance ganja worth Rs. 8000 was seized and crime number 488/24 section 8/20 B NDPS Act was registered and the accused was arrested.

Similarly, Ramkrishna Kahar alias Kedu father late Bariyar Kahar age 58 years resident of Ward No. 780 grams of narcotic substance ganja worth Rs. 6500 was seized from 13 Amhaitola Amarkantak Road Anuppur at village Damna Sakaria Road and the accused was arrested by registering crime number 489/24 section 8/20B NDPS Act.

Under the direction of Superintendent of Police Anuppur Mr. Moti Ur Rehman and guidance of Additional Superintendent of Police Anuppur Mr. Israr Mansuri and SDOP Anuppur Mr. Sumit Kerketta, action was taken against those selling and trading narcotics by the team of TI Kotwali Inspector Arvind Jain along with Sub Inspector Praveen Kumar Sahu, Assistant Sub Inspector Santosh Verma, Head Constable Rajesh Kanwar, Sheikh Rasheed, Ritesh Singh, Sandeep Sahu, Constable Abdul Kaleem, Prakash Tiwari, Purnanand Mishra, Lady Constable Ankita Soni, Usha Singh.
