Balaghat, Angry farmers of village Aonlajhari near Balaghat headquarters staged a road blockade and blocked the Balaghat to Baihar road due to waterlogging in their fields and paddy not being planted. Due to which there was a lot of commotion here for a long time. Long queues of vehicles were seen. On receiving the information of farmers' road blockade protest, the area's MLA Mrs. Anubha Munjare arrived on a wheel chair despite having a fractured leg and arrangements were made for water drainage while supporting.

Former MP Kankar Munjare had also arrived. It was told that a builder has bought land in Aonlajhari and started plotting work there. Due to which the drainage of water from the fields of the surrounding farmers has been completely blocked. Due to water stagnation, paddy is not being planted by the farmers. Farmers say that their paddy crop is getting damaged. In which farmers of Devtola, Amlajhari, Bagholi and Bodagaon are facing more problems. Water was being drained here for many years. But due to the builder stopping the water drainage, the farmers' fields have been filled with water. Apart from this, some houses have been built there and there is also water. Farmers said that water was being drained for many years and the builder recently bought the land and plotted it and closed the drain. Despite continuous complaints about the matter, the farmers were angry due to not getting cooperation from the administration and staged a road blockade protest. The Tehsildar's team, who reached the spot, made arrangements for water drainage with a JCB machine. After which the protest ended. MLA Anubha Munjare said that water was being drained from the farmers' fields for many years, stopping the water of the farmers' fields is wrong. The builder should not close the drain. If the farmers face any problems, then further fierce protests will be held. The administration did not take this problem of the farmers seriously. Due to which they were forced to stage a road blockade. It is the responsibility of the Revenue Department to make arrangements for water drainage. No matter how influential a person is, who has given him the right to stop water?
