Lalbarra, Balaghat Assembly Constituency No. 111 MLA Mrs. Anubha Munjare has appointed Lalbarra Sarpanch Anees Khan as her MLA representative for Zila Panchayat Balaghat. It is known that at present, Anees Khan is the only public representative in the entire district who is representing the largest Gram Panchayat of Lalbarra Block Headquarters by winning the election for the fourth time in a row since 2004 at the youngest age in the three-tier Panchayati Raj. Anees Khan, who was elected as a Zilla Panchayat member for 10 years and Sarpanch for the last 10 years, is known as a senior public representative and experienced in the Panchayat area. Anees Khan, who is considered close to former Chief Minister and current Rajya Sabha Member Shri Digvijay Singh, has been appointed as MLA representative by MLA Smt. Anubha Munjare for District Panchayat Balaghat from Balaghat Assembly Constituency No. 111, which includes 3 DDC areas of Lalbarra Janpad Panchayat and 2 DDC areas of Janpad Panchayat Balaghat. It includes 77 gram panchayats of Lalbarra Block, 10 gram panchayats of Balaghat Block and Janpad Panchayat and 2 district panchayats. It is known that Anees Khan, who is considered close to former Chief Minister and current Rajya Sabha MP Shri Digvijay Singh, has been continuously elected and representing the state in the three-tier Panchayat Raj for the last 20 years. He has been elected twice as a Janpad Panchayat member and twice consecutively as the Sarpanch of the largest Gram Panchayat. He has also held various posts in the District Congress Committee and is currently posted as the Secretary of District Congress Balaghat.
