Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister and Telugu Desam Party (TDP) National President N. Chandrababu Naidu has expressed gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman for meeting the needs of Andhra Pradesh in the Union Budget for the financial year 2024-25. He said that this support will go a long way in rebuilding Andhra Pradesh. In a statement, Naidu praised the budget for focusing on important projects and areas of Andhra Pradesh.

The Chief Minister wrote on his social media platform X, "On behalf of the people of Andhra Pradesh, I thank Hon'ble Prime Minister @narendramodi Ji and Hon'ble Union Finance Minister @nsitharaman Ji for recognising the needs of our state and focusing on the development of the capital, Polavaram, industrial nodes and backward areas of Andhra Pradesh in the Union Budget for FY 24-25. Meanwhile, praising the Union Budget 2024-25, Minister of State for Civil Aviation Kinjarapu Rammohan Naidu also thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi for fulfilling his promise to support Andhra Pradesh, which he said has been a "state without a capital" for the last 5 years.

Appreciating the Union Budget 2024-25, Minister of State Naidu lauded the government's efforts to empower the common people of India, stressing on the government's plan to boost employment in India. Ram Mohan Naidu said, "The government has worked to give strength to the common people of the country. Emphasis has been laid on job creation, employment generation, private sector and FDI. I want to thank PM Modi who promised to take care of Andhra Pradesh and he has done so in the budget. In the last 5 years, Andhra Pradesh became a state without a capital. The people and farmers of the state want to thank PM Modi for giving a package of Rs 15,000 crore and completing the Polavaram project, the lifeline of Andhra Pradesh"

It is worth noting that Andhra Pradesh got special attention in the Union Budget, in which Sitharaman announced special financial assistance to meet the state's need for funds. He stressed on efforts to fulfil commitments under the Andhra Pradesh Reorganisation Act, announcing an allocation of Rs 15,000 crore for this fiscal, with additional funds to be provided in the coming years.
