Lalbarra, A big controversy has arisen over the recruitment process for 18 posts in Government College Lalbarra. Unemployed youth and local people allege that this process was not transparent and it was completed in a secretive manner. In this recruitment organized by Sedmap, the application link was activated for only 48 hours, which was neither publicized nor an advertisement was published in any newspaper. Due to this, hundreds of eligible candidates remained unaware of this recruitment.

Conspiracy to benefit the favorites?

Applicants and local residents say that this entire process was already designed to benefit some favorites. Lack of transparency was also reported in the interview process. The youth of the area allege that only those who were close to the management were given priority.

On this, Principal Surendra Khandayat clarified that the recruitment process was merit based and transparent. He also admitted that the media should have been informed on time, but tried to evade the allegations by calling it a "lapse".

Unemployed angry, waiting for selection list

Unemployed youth say that giving only 48 hours for such a big recruitment, that too without any publicity, raises suspicion. An applicant said, "This recruitment is just a sham. The government should answer why such a quick and secretive process was adopted."

Now everyone's eyes are on the selection list, which will make it clear whether this process was really transparent, or there is truth behind the allegations. This matter has raised questions on the process of government recruitment not only in Lalbarra but in the entire region.
