The education and medical facilities in West Uttar Pradesh are of the lowest quality. Bhagat Singh Verma said that despite having a government medical college in Saharanpur, the poor people here have to go to Chandigarh or Delhi Dehradun for expensive treatment. There is no facility for the treatment of sick people in Government Medical College Saharanpur. The BJP's central government should increase medical facilities by establishing AIIMS in Saharanpur and Meerut.
