Taking cognizance of the matter, District Magistrate Manish Bansal has issued instructions to ensure strict action against hotels/residential establishments operating unregistered under the Inn Act in the district.
District Magistrate Manish Bansal expressed serious concern that such establishments operating without registration often become centers of illegal activities, potentially affecting public safety and law and order. In the review done by the district administration, Hotel Adarsh, Clock Tower, Suryalok Hotel, Railway Road, Clock Tower, Arise Hotel, opposite LVST Bank, Court Road, The Uttam Hotel, Ambala Road, Clock Tower, Hotel Eagle Arise, Railway Road, Clock Tower, Shri Krishna Hotel and Restaurant, Teetro Kalan, Tehsil Behat, Himalaya Hotel and Restaurant, Biharigarh, Royal Greens, near Medigram Hospital, Delhi Road, Oyo Home Subhashish, Sarsawa, Haridham, Village Nagal Mafi, Tehsil Behat, Radhey Shyam Hotel, Khatakhedi, Samrat Vikram Colony, Deep Hotel, near Jamia Tibbia Medical College, Deoband, Hotel Prakash, Bhagat Singh Marg, Clock Tower, Pop 90767 Deoband, House No. 4/204, Malian, Jwala Nagar, Mangal Nagar, Shivalik Water Park and Resort, Village Nagal Mafi, Tehsil Behat, Pench-O The Resort, Biharigarh, Paramount Inn Paramount Tulip, Delhi Road and Hotel Break Point, Village Toli, Gangoh Road. 20 hotels have been identified that were found to be unregistered under the Inn Act. District Magistrate Manish Bansal has directed the Additional District Magistrate (Administration) to immediately issue notices to all the concerned establishments and ensure that they get duly registered within the stipulated period or stop operations. He has also directed all the station in-charges of the district to verify such hotels in their respective areas and, in coordination with the administrative officers, ensure that the illegally operated establishments are closed. He said that in case of non-compliance of the instructions, strict punitive action will be taken against the concerned operators as per law. The district administration has expected all the hotel operators to immediately ensure the necessary registration under the Inn Act.
