Alirajpur's voice resonated during the budget session
MLA Sena Mahesh Patel cornered the government on urban development and employee rights
Alirajpur, Sena Mahesh Patel, drew the government's attention by highlighting the pressing issues of Alirajpur city during the budget session of the Madhya Pradesh Legislative Assembly. During the budget discussion, he clearly stated that holistic development is impossible without prioritizing the basic needs of tribal-dominated and backward districts.
MLA Patel demanded the immediate approval of the construction of the municipal building in the House. He stated that a well-organized administrative building would provide better services to citizens and bring transparency to the functioning of the system. He also strongly advocated for the immediate approval of the development of the Shri Ram Gaushala building, the construction of the Gaushala Bridge, and other pending projects.
He also highlighted the need for 500 houses in the municipal area as a serious issue, saying that providing housing facilities commensurate with the growing population is essential so that poor and needy families can live a dignified life.
During the budget discussion, MLA Sena Mahesh Patel raised the issue of the interests of municipal employees with utmost sensitivity. He said that sanitation workers and other employees make a significant contribution to maintaining the city's cleanliness and health from early morning. They wake up early every morning to clean roads, streets, and public spaces, ensuring a clean and healthy environment for the public.
He said that for such hardworking employees, receiving timely salaries is their right, not a favor. Delayed salaries cause financial hardship for regular and outsourced employees, which is extremely unfortunate. The government should ensure that the salary payment process is timely and transparent.
During his speech in the House, he said, "The development of Alirajpur Municipality and the respect of employees is our top priority. It is our responsibility to protect the rights of the employees who keep the city clean and healthy from early morning."
His intervention in the budget session is being seen as a strong voice not only for city development but also for the respect and rights of employees.
