AIR INDIA-VISTARA flight to Dhaka will start again from this day

Tata Group airline Air India and majority-owned airline Vistara have announced to resume flight service to Dhaka. Air India will operate the evening scheduled flight on August 6. According to PTI news, Vistara will then start scheduled services to the Bangladesh capital from August 7. The neighboring country has plunged into uncertainty and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina was forced to step down and flee after protests on the streets over job quota.
Flight AI237/238 will be operated
On Tuesday, Air India canceled its morning flight to Dhaka. The airline will operate its evening flight AI237/238 on the Delhi-Dhaka-Delhi sector on Tuesday. In a statement, the airline also said that due to the current situation there, passengers with confirmed bookings on any flights to and from Dhaka between August 4 and 7 are being given a one-time discount on rescheduling. The offer will be applicable for tickets booked on or before August 5.
Two daily flights are operated from Delhi to Dhaka
According to the report, as per the normal schedule, Air India operates two daily flights from the national capital Delhi to Dhaka. According to an official, Vistara will operate its services as per schedule from Wednesday. Vistara operates daily services from Mumbai and three weekly services from Delhi to Dhaka. Both Vistara and IndiGo had cancelled their Tuesday flights to the Bangladesh capital.
An update from IndiGo is awaited regarding flights to Dhaka for Wednesday. Normally, IndiGo operates one daily flight from Delhi, Mumbai and Chennai to Dhaka and two daily services from Kolkata to the Bangladesh capital.
