Saharanpur, Additional District Magistrate Administration Dr. Archana Dwivedi chaired a meeting with the concerned officials and army officials regarding the preparations for Agniveer recruitment in the new auditorium located in the Collectorate. Under the Agniveer recruitment in the district, the Indian Army is to organize a rally from 24 December to 05 January. This rally will be held at Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar Stadium. Candidates from 13 districts of the state will participate in the rally. Candidates from Saharanpur, Muzaffarnagar, Shamli, Rampur, Moradabad, Bijnor, Amroha, Gautam Buddha Nagar, Hapur, Ghaziabad, Baghpat, Meerut and Bulandshahr will come to the rally. In the meeting, Army Recruitment Officer Colonel Satyajit Beble informed the officials about the arrangements and requirements to be made in view of the rally. He informed that 15 thousand candidates will participate in the recruitment rally. About 1500 candidates will come to the district every day. Dr. Archana Dwivedi instructed all the departmental officers to complete the proper arrangements on time.
The Additional District Magistrate instructed the concerned officers to make proper arrangements for drinking water, cleanliness, barricading, uninterrupted power supply, light, toilets, ambulance and medical etc. He instructed to make arrangements for the stay of the candidates coming from outside. He instructed the Transport Department to operate buses in sufficient numbers and the Fire Department to make proper arrangements to deal with any untoward incident at the rally site. On this occasion, SP Traffic Siddharth Verma, City Magistrate Gajendra Kumar, Chief Medical Officer Dr. Praveen Kumar, all Sub-District Magistrates and other officers and Army Recruitment officers were present.
