Ujjain, Municipal Corporation has shown seriousness after two people died due to wall collapse of Maharajwada School in Ujjain, the city of Baba Mahakal. Taking a lesson from this accident, Municipal Corporation administration took action to remove encroachment from Maharajwada School area. On Saturday, Municipal Administration has removed encroachment near Bada Ganesh Temple with a bulldozer. Hundreds of shops running illegally were removed. During this, shopkeepers protested against the action. Police had to use mild force as the ruckus increased.

Municipal Corporation in-charge said that Municipal Corporation has taken a lesson from the wall collapse incident that happened on Friday. After the incident, action has been taken to remove encroachment in Maharajwada area. Many shops were running by encroaching around the incident site. Shopkeepers were first advised to remove the shops, even after the administration's persuasion, when the traders did not agree, the police had to use mild force, after which the shopkeepers were removed. During the action to remove encroachment, more than 100 shops have been removed. Shops selling flower offerings were also removed from near the temple.

Shopkeepers did not listen even after announcement

According to the information, the shops that were removed during the action were running near the dilapidated wall. After the accident, the Municipal Corporation took action against encroachment and took action to remove the shops. Before this action, the Municipal Corporation gang had made an announcement, in which it was clearly said that the shopkeepers should remove the shops set up in encroachment. Even after this, the shopkeepers did not show seriousness. After this, on Saturday, the corporation team reached with a bulldozer to remove the encroachment.
