Anuppur, today on 04.01.2025, an informer informed that a person is writing betting slips of numbers at Rajnagar bus stand by taking money from people. On this information, betting slips, dot pen, cash of Rs 1175 were seized from accused Prashant Behera father late Abhi Behera age 39 years resident Indira Nagar police station Ramnagar and a case has been registered under crime number 04/2025 section 4 (a) of the Satta Act.

In another case, accused Vimlesh Varman father Bhavani Prasad Varman age 39 years resident Ward number 07 near Church police station Ramnagar was caught by the police while writing betting slips of numbers by taking money from people at Siding Tiraha Rajnagar. Satta slip, dot pen, cash of Rs 510/- was seized from the possession of the accused and a case has been registered under Crime No. 05/2025 Section 4 (a) of Satta Act.

Police station in-charge Sumit Kaushik, Sub Inspector Umesh Tiwari, Head R 89 Amit Patel, R. 389 Manoj, R. 529 Anurag Singh played a role in the above action.
