Damoh, Under the instructions given by Collector Sudhir Kumar Kochar, under the guidance of Additional Collector Meena Masram, continuous action is being taken against illegal mineral mining, transportation and storage by Mineral Officer Major Singh Jamra. In the same sequence, today, while taking action against illegal transportation of minerals in village Kumhari, 02 dumpers were seized while transporting sand more than the quantity mentioned in the transportation pass and were kept in Kumhari police station. While taking action on illegal storage of sand in Damoh, 02 cases were registered and 02 tractor trolleys were seized from the spot and kept in Kotwali police station. Cases were registered against illegal transporters and storage operators under Madhya Pradesh Mineral Rules.
