Merta Road, for making objectionable messages related to spoiling social harmony viral on social media and making comments about the mob setting fire to the police station Merta Road, the police arrested accused Bhura Ram alias Pintu Jangid, resident of Merta Road, and presented him in the court from where he was sent to jail.

On the day of Ganesh immersion on September 17, Bhura Ram Jangid, resident of Merta Road, created a fake group in the name of a TV channel on WhatsApp and made messages viral on other groups about the mob setting the police station on fire, made indecent comments against the police and spoiled the social harmony. The police registered a case under various sections and sent the investigation to the Merta City Police Officer. Superintendent of Police, Nagaur, Narayan Togas, took this matter seriously and ordered a thorough investigation. In this regard, Merta City Police Station Officer Rajveer Singh, while investigating, arrested the accused Bhura Ram alias Pintu Jangid, resident of Merta Road, and presented him in the court from where he was sent to jail.
