Shajapur, In spite of the Sarva Hindu Utsav Committee submitting a memorandum to the District Collector against the construction of an illegal dargah on the government land located in nearby village Kanja of Shajapur, no action was taken. Angered Hindu organizations burnt the effigy of the disputed mineral officer in the case.

At 4 pm on Saturday evening, Hindu organizations gathered under the aegis of Sarva Hindu Utsav Samiti protested against the Mineral Officer at the bus stand, raised slogans and burnt the effigy and also gave a strict warning of violent agitation if action is not taken in the matter. In this regard, Sarva Hindu Utsav Committee President Pandit Ashish Nagar said that on November 28, it was revealed that the Dargah has been illegally constructed on the government land located at Baldi in village Kanja of the district. In which the role of District Mineral Officer Arif Khan seems suspicious. As soon as the matter came to notice, the Sarva Hindu Utsav Committee had submitted a memorandum to the Collector on 28th November demanding an investigation into the role of the concerned officer, but till now no concrete action has been taken in this regard, Mineral Officer Arif Khan at the bus stand at 4 pm on Saturday. Protests were held by burning the effigy of. Pt. Nagar said that if action is still not taken against the disputed officer in this matter, then the Hindu society will be forced to launch a phased movement.
