Acharyas of Akharas will visit Vishwanath Dham from 6 to 9 in the morning
Naga Sadhus will have darshan
On Mahashivratri (26 February), Acharyas of Akharas, Sadhus-Saints and Naga Sadhus will be given darshan of Shri Kashi Vishwanath from 6 to 9 in the morning. Divisional Commissioner Kaushal Raj Sharma said that all of them will be given darshan from Gate No. 4. Divisional Commissioner Kaushal Raj Sharma, Police Commissioner Mohit Agarwal and DM S Rajlingam inspected the Godaulia area on Monday.
During this time, they also went to Mrityunjay Math and met Acharya Mahamandaleshwar Avdheshanand Giri, Peethadheeshwar of Panchnamdas Juna Akhara, and discussed the matter. Also, discussions were held regarding the sadhus and sanyasis of Akharas going to Kashi Vishwanath temple for darshan and worship on Mahashivratri. After this, the time for darshan of the people of Akharas was fixed. During this, Acharya Mahamandaleshwar presented his own book "Eternal Echoes" to all the officials. The Divisional Commissioner instructed ADM City Alok Kumar Verma and the CEO of the temple Vishwabhushan to improve the arrangements for smooth darshan of the devotees along with the akhadas. He asked the sadhus and saints of the akhadas and the devotees to be taken through the fixed routes and lanes for temple darshan. The Police Commissioner instructed ADCP Traffic Rajesh Kumar Pandey to make all possible efforts to make the traffic system smooth.
Alert in hospitals, ambulances will be stationed near Shiva temples
The Health Department has become alert in view of the possibility of a huge crowd of devotees in Kashi on Mahashivratri. The team of doctors in the emergency of Marwari Hospital, Divisional Hospital Kabirchaura and other hospitals has been alerted. Along with this, it was asked to keep a complete arrangement for investigation and treatment in any kind of emergency. Health booths have been set up by the Health Department at places including railway station, Chittaranjan Park, Ghat, Kashi Vishwanath Dham. CMO Dr. Sandeep Chaudhary said that along with deploying a team of doctors and paramedical staff at the health booth, ambulances will be on standby near Vishwanath Dham, Markandeya Mahadev and other major Shiva temples.
