Dhar, ABVP Malwa Province submitted a memorandum to the college principal in the name of the Higher Education Minister to draw the government's attention to various scholarship related problems. Student Council's city minister Karan Rathore said during the demonstration that due to the scholarship portal being stalled in Madhya Pradesh for the last 6 months, more than 1.5 lakh students of the state are today being deprived of the benefits of various types of scholarship related schemes. Due to the benefits of post-matric scholarship, housing allowance, Gaon Ki Beti Yojana, Pratibha Kiran Yojana, students from economically weaker sections who take admission in colleges through scholarship related schemes are now facing financial challenges. Dhar District Convenor of Vidyarthi Parishad, Rohit Raghuvanshi also told through memorandum that with the help of scholarship schemes like Sambal, Post Matric, the enrollment percentage of students in higher education is increasing every year. In such a situation, the closure of the scholarship portal for 6 months shows the negligence of the officials of the Higher Education Department. The students are rejected by the Higher Education Department citing budget and technical glitches, due to which the student community is requested to provide the benefit of the pending scholarship to the students very soon. By doing this, thousands of talented students from poor middle class will get the opportunity to get higher education. Otherwise we will protest against you in college campuses. During this, a large number of Student Council workers were present. This information was given by Co-Office Minister Pratham Tiwari.
