Indore. A young man died after consuming poison in the Kanadiya area. He had been living alone in his flat for the past five years. It has also emerged that the man was in a relationship with a young woman, and police have received information about a dispute between the two. However, according to family members, he had been under mental stress for some time.

The deceased has been identified as Harsh Rampal. He worked at a call center in Indore. It is reported that Harsh was planning to move abroad to live with his sister and wanted to sell his flat in Indore to achieve this.

Concern grew when his girlfriend did not answer his phone

According to police, Harsh consumed poison on Saturday. His girlfriend had been calling him repeatedly, but he did not answer her calls. When she was unable to contact him despite repeated calls, the woman feared something was amiss and informed the police.

After receiving the information, police arrived at the scene. An attempt was made to open the flat's door, but it was locked from inside. Police broke it open. Harsh's body was found on the sofa inside. Police sent the body for post-mortem and searched the room.

No suicide note found in the room

Police did not find any suicide note at the scene. To investigate the case, they have also seized Harsh's mobile phone. Based on the call details and other information, efforts are being made to identify who he had communicated with before the incident.

Police are also questioning Harsh's girlfriend and family members to determine the circumstances behind the suicide.

Parents died during COVID-19

According to family members, Harsh's parents died during the COVID-19 pandemic. Following this, he and his sister bought a flat together in Indore. Since his sister lives abroad, she rarely visits Indore.

It is being reported that Harsh wanted to sell the flat and move abroad to his sister, but the sale process was unable to proceed because the flat was in both their names. Family members say this is why he was under stress.

Some of Harsh's relatives live in Indore. They say that Harsh hadn't been communicating with them much for some time. Police are currently investigating all aspects of the case and will take further action based on the post-mortem report and information obtained from his mobile phone.
