New primary health center opened in Bayanar

Kondagaon, the light of development has finally reached Bayanar village of Kondagaon district, which was under the shadow of Naxalism for a long time. State Forest Minister Kedar Kashyap inaugurated the primary health center built here at a cost of Rs 1.03 crore. With the opening of this center, now about 15 thousand villagers of 21 nearby villages will not have to go miles away for treatment.
On the occasion of inauguration, Minister Kashyap also announced other development works worth Rs 3.05 crore, which is expected to change the picture of the area. In Bayanar, which was deprived of basic facilities for a long time, now health facilities as well as other public welfare schemes have also started reaching rapidly.
This area is surrounded by dense forests from all sides, where government schemes used to remain limited to mere documents due to Naxal activities. The villagers used to spend their daily life in broken roads, poor communication system and lack of health services. In such a situation, the new health center is not just a building, but it is the beginning of change in the lives of the people of the area.
Local people say that this is the first time that a government scheme has taken concrete shape on their land. Earlier, where even sunlight hardly reached, now a new hope for health has arisen there.
The Forest Minister said in his speech that the aim of the government is to take development to the last person. Providing basic facilities like health, education and road to remote villages is the real public service.
Establishment of a health center in Bayanar is not only an administrative achievement, but it is also an infusion of new confidence in the lives of thousands of villagers who were waiting for a better future for years.
