Saharanpur, A person resident of Dangheda of Nagal police station area of Saharanpur district has filed a complaint with the police accusing his brother of fraudulently embezzling lakhs of rupees by selling his land and demanding action. Janeshwar Tyagi told in the complaint given to the police that he is an illiterate person and five bighas of farm land in the forest of the village is in his name. Recently, his brother sold the land to a person known to him for Rs 22.5 lakh and fraudulently deposited the check of the said amount in his account. It is alleged that when the brother asked for money for the land he had sold, he and the land buyer started abusing and assaulting him. The police have taken the complaint and started investigation.
