Saharanpur, On the sixth Navratri of Chaitra Shukla Paksha, a huge crowd of devotees reached the Siddhapeeth Shri Ma Shakambhari Devi Temple. During this time, the Shivalik valley and the temple complex echoed with the chants of Mother Goddess. According to the belief, the devotees first prayed for the welfare of the family and the world by offering prasad to Baba Bhuradev and then to the mother of the world, Adi Shakti Maa Shakumbhari Devi temple. During this time, not only the temple area but the entire Shivalik valley echoed with the deafening cheers raised by the devotees. After having the darshan of the Mother Goddess, the devotees availed religious benefits by taking Prasad from the huge stores running in the fair premises. Temple administrator Rana Atulya Pratap Singh said that keeping in mind the facilities of the devotees, CCTV cameras have been arranged in the fair premises for security purposes including toilets, drinking water.
