Shajapur, Protesting against the atrocities on women in Sandeshkhali, Shajapur, West Bengal, Vishwa Hindu Parishad and Bajrang Dal on Friday submitted memorandums in the entire Malwa province, demanding action against the criminals as well as issuing a helpline number. Went so that women can express their views without fear.
In the memorandum, VHP officials and workers said that we oppose the atrocities being committed on women and families in Sandeshkhali. The incidents of Sandeshkhali came to light after the attack on ED officials 47 days ago. He said that many incidents of brutal treatment, harassment and assault on children and women are continuously coming to light. That is not the only example of failure of the West Bengal administration and police department. Rather, it also has religious and political issues. Activists have demanded that strict action should be taken immediately against the violations of women and human rights taking place in democracy. Also, security and financial assistance should be provided immediately to all the victimized women, children and families. These atrocities against women should be investigated. To maintain the morale of women, they should be provided counseling services by trained counselors by the government. Apart from this, an independent helpline number should be made available immediately to speak on these specific incidents so that women can express their views without any fear. Also, for a fair investigation of the entire matter, this case should be transferred to another state so that the victims can get justice. A large number of workers were present on this occasion.
