Saharanpur | Deoband, a health camp was organized in the government hospital of the city on the completion of six years of Ayushman Bharat Jan Arogya Yojana, which is included in the major scheme of the central government. During this, an exhibition was also organized in the hospital premises regarding the schemes being run by the health department. Inaugurating the camp organized under the Seva Pakhwada, Minister of State Brijesh Singh said that Ayushman Yojana is the world's largest health insurance scheme. Which was launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on 23 September 2018. Under this scheme of the government, every beneficiary is given free treatment up to Rs 5 lakh. He said that recently the government has included the elderly above 70 years of age in this scheme, which is very commendable. CMO Dr. Praveen Kumar said that women above 60 years of age will be given free checkup in the Seva Pakhwada camp running till 30 September. He said that under the fortnight, programs like Aapke Dwar, Ayushman Chaupal, Ayushman Sabha, Ayushman Bharat Cycle and Bike Yatra etc. will be organized. CHC Superintendent Dr. Ajay Kumar Tyagi, Dr. Riyanka Chaudhary, Municipal Chairman Vipin Garg, Dr. Sukhpal Singh, BJP Nagar President Arun Gupta, Seth Kuldeep Chhabra, Rajan Chhabra, Sonit Kashyap, Yashwant Rana, Rahul Valmiki etc. were present in the program.
