A group of 30 farmers of the district left for Krishi Vigyan Kendra Ambikapur for a tour
Will receive technical training of vegetable production and organic farming

Anuppur, Horticulture and Food Processing Department Anuppur sent a group of 30 farmers of the district to Krishi Vigyan Kendra Ambikapur. The group of farmers was flagged off by senior farmers Shri Purushottam Das Patel and Shri Chetram Patel. During this, Assistant Director Horticulture Shri Subhash Srivastava said that the group of the said farmers will be on a five-day tour from 11 to 15 November 2024. During the tour, the farmer group will be given technical training of pear, fruit production, potato production, vegetable production and training related to the use of organic farming and horticulture agricultural equipment at the Temperate Central Research Center Mainpat Chhattisgarh. This group will observe and receive training in commercial farming of vegetables and flowers, protected farming and plant production technology in polyhouse, nethouse under plant production technology in nursery through modern scientific method in model nursery Ambikapur. Along with receiving training in advanced farming of mango, guava and lemon in Krishi Vigyan Kendra Ambikapur, they will also observe and visit the fields of progressive farmers and share experiences with farmers.
