Saharanpur (Uttar Pradesh), A grand procession was taken out on the birth anniversary of Shiromani Maharaja Agrasen. The tableaus of various gods and goddesses were the center of attraction for everyone in the procession. The procession was inaugurated from Agrawal Dharamshala by Ghaziabad MP Atul Garg and District Magistrate Manish Bansal, former State Minister Sanjay Garg. The procession was taken out from various markets of the city. The traders in the market welcomed the procession in a grand manner by showering flowers and offering cold drinks. The chariot of Lord Shri Ganesh ji was moving at the forefront of the procession. Behind him were tableaus of youth and children riding horses. Behind him was the chariot of Shiromani Maharaja Agrasen ji, whose charioteer was Lala Dharamveer Garg. The procession was led by District President Pawan Goyal. The procession passed through all the markets and concluded by reaching Garwal Dharamshala again. A large number of people from the Vaishya community from various regions and towns such as Rampur, Chilkana, Behat, Nakud, Gangoh, Sarsawa and other places attended the procession. Mainly, District President Dinesh Gupta from Sarsawa, all respected officials of All India Vaishya Mahasammelan, Anupam Gupta from Small Industries Recruitment, Naresh Goel, Pawan Goel, District General Secretary Ravi Gupta, Treasurer Kapil Singhal, District President of Women's Committee Kusum Agarwal, Abhinay Goel, Rajiv, Sunil Gupta, Pradeep Mittal, Anil Guna, Arvind Goel, Ram Rajeev Singhal, Mukund Manohar Goel and a large number of people from the community participated in the procession of Maharaja Agrasen Jayanti celebration.
