Satna, A flood of faith is swelled in Maihar's Trikuta Parvat Virajo Mata Sharda's court. On the occasion of Navratri, devotees from all over the country continue to arrive to visit Jagjanani Mateshwari. So far, more than 1.5 lakh devotees have bowed their heads at the doorstep of the mother. On the first day of Navratri, where more than 1 lakh 3 thousand devotees visited Mata Rani and sought her blessings, on the second day too, from 3 am to 8 am in just 5 hours, more than 57 thousand devotees have bowed their heads at the feet of Mata Sharda. According to the information received from the Mela Control Room, on the second day, from 3 am to 8 am, on Friday, a total of more than 57 thousand 246 devotees including 54 thousand 974 devotees from the staircase route, 330 from the van and 1942 from the ropeway received the darshan of Mata Rani. It is estimated that more than 10 lakh devotees will reach to visit Mata Sharda in the 9 days of Sharadiya Navratri.

Administration-police have made extensive arrangements: 4 DSPs, 12 TIs, 600 police personnel and volunteers have been put on duty for the 9-day long Sharadiya Navratri in Maihar. Maihar Collector Rani Batad, SP Sudhir Kumar Agarwal, ADM Shailendra Singh, ASP Mukesh Vaishya, SDM Vikas Singh and CSP Rajiv Pathak are constantly monitoring the arrangements and conditions. The entire fair area is being monitored with the help of two drone cameras while more than 200 CCTV cameras have been installed for surveillance. MPs, MLAs went for darshan on e-rickshaws: This time also the administration has banned VIP darshan arrangements and the movement of vehicles has also been banned beyond Bandha Barrier. Parking arrangements have been made for vehicles. No vehicle is being allowed to go beyond that. On the first day, Thursday, Satna MP Ganesh Singh, Maihar MLA Shrikant Chaturvedi and BJP District President Kamlesh Suhane also left their vehicles and travelled on e-rickshaws and reached for darshan of Mata Rani. Maihar Collector Rani Batad, SDM Vikas Singh and Tehsildar Maihar District Administration and Police have made extensive arrangements for the convenience and safety of the devotees coming to the Navratri fair. 12 executive magistrates are deployed in the fair area while 2 Additional SPs, Jitendra Patel also inspected the fair area sitting on e-rickshaws.
