On the occasion of Guru Purnima, the yagya organized for the last five days at the local Bapu's hut concluded with Purnahuti on Sunday. Along with this, the Charan Paduka of Guru Bapji was worshipped in the very ancient Nityanand Ashram of the city and Bapji's idol was anointed and Maha Aarti was performed and prasadi was distributed. At the same time, a flood of faith swelled at the local Bhairav ​​Dungri and children, old people, women and men climbed hundreds of stairs and worshipped Bhairav ​​Baba and wished for happiness and prosperity. It is noteworthy that every year Bhairav ​​Baba, famous as Nagar Kotwal, seated on Bhairav ​​Dungri, is worshipped by offering special chola on Guru Purnima and due to this old tradition, devotees kept coming to Bhairav ​​Dungri on Guru Purnima day and devotees offered liquor as prasad to Bheru Baba. On the occasion of Purnima, Maha Aarti was also performed by offering special chola in other Bhairav ​​temples of the city. Along with this, the five-day Panchkundiya Maha Yagya organized at Bapu's hut also concluded with Purnahuti.

Omkareshwar decorated in the form of Mahaguru

On the occasion of Guru Purnima, the process of darshan and worship continued in the Shiva temples of the city. In this sequence, Omkareshwar Mahadev located at Dhanmandi Chauraha was decorated with Bhaat. Temple priest Omprakash Goswami decorated Mahadev in the form of Mahaguru due to Guru Purnima, which was the center of attraction for the devotees. At night, Baba's Maha Aarti was performed and Prasad was distributed.
