Shahdol, There was a commotion in the Community Health Center under Budhar police station on Tuesday when preparations were going on to send a dead body to Uttar Pradesh without postmortem. According to information received from sources in the case, Orient Paper reported that two days ago, Golden Transport Company's truck driver 60-year-old Balraj Singh, who is a native of Vaishali district of Uttar Pradesh, was brutally beaten up by local white-collar leaders right near the gate through which transport vehicles enter and exit the caustic soda factory unit, and the glass of his vehicle was also broken. In the intervening night of Monday-Tuesday, once again, God knows what havoc was wreaked on the same helpless driver, who brought 60-year-old Balraj Singh for treatment in the ambulance of HGI Caustic Soda Factory Unit to the Community Health Center Budhar, where the doctor present there declared 60-year-old Balraj Singh dead.

In the case, some people have said that the local leaders and the politics of Nagar Parishad Bargawan had the power to kill 60-year-old Balraj Singh. Some people allege that politicians are being targeted due to the grudge over the gas leak in the chemical factory. How much truth is there in this will be clear only after police investigation, but it is said that smoke rises only when there is a fire. Police is also investigating many points in this case, in which something can be said only after examining the evidence like CCTV footage etc. Probably whoever is found guilty in the case, action will be taken.

We did not get to see the body, but the doctor has told that there are injury marks on the body of the deceased Balraj Singh. I feel that our driver colleague has been beaten up. If there is no impartial investigation in the case, then we will come out on the streets and protest.
