According to Bihar Election Commission, till 6 pm, 48.23 percent voting took place in Bihar. There was 50 percent voting in Aurangabad, 52 percent in Gaya, 41.50 percent in Nawada and 50 percent in Jamui. ‘Despite a lot of efforts, turnout decreased’
The Chief Electoral Officer of Bihar said that this time five helicopters of the Air Force were also used in the Naxal area. We also recovered liquor in huge quantity. This time the voting percentage decreased due to heavy staffing. Despite many efforts, not much voting took place. Horsemen, helicopters and bomb disposal teams were also deployed for the elections.

Why was the voting percentage low?

People did not reach the polling stations due to extreme heat.
Inadequate arrangements for sheds, drinking water etc. at polling stations.
Long distance of polling stations from people's homes in villages.
Lack of awareness about voting among people in many areas.
Migration of people from different districts.
