Patna, 40 thousand private schools of Bihar are in danger of being closed. These schools which are being run without the permission of the state government have been given an ultimatum till 15th August. They will have to take permission from the state government to run the school, if this is not done then their school will be closed. The education department has given the last chance to the owners of such private schools.
It has been said that they should get the permission by 15th August in any case or else action will be taken. An order will be issued to close their school. It is surprising that till now there are only 12 thousand private schools in Bihar which are being run with the recognition from the government. Whereas 40 thousand schools are being run in Bihar without recognition.
Now the government is going to take action against such schools. But before doing so, the education department has given them the last chance. It has been said that they should get the recognition by 15th August Independence Day or else the school will be closed. Primary Education Director Mithilesh Mishra gave this information.
He said that all private schools running without government approval will be closed. The last chance for this has been given till August 15, after which no other chance will be given nor will it be considered. Along with this, it was also said that now private schools will have to admit children from poor and weaker sections in their schools under the Right to Education Act. Action will be taken against schools that do not do so.
