A case of diesel theft has come to light from a truck parked at Van Vihar Dhaba in Shahdol, Byahari. The truck driver has complained about the matter to the police station. The driver told that he had reached Byahari with an empty truck for loading from Satna. At around 9 pm, he ate food near the Dhaba and parked the truck and went to sleep. When he woke up in the morning, diesel had been stolen from the truck tank.
In the police station area including Byahari of the district, cases of diesel theft from heavy vehicles parked on the highway have become common. Complaints of diesel theft from truck tanks are coming every day. In some cases, the police even sends the truck drivers away from the police station without even registering a complaint. About 40 liters of diesel has been stolen from the tank of a truck parked at Van Vihar Dhaba. The complaint of which has been lodged by the truck driver at the police station. Truck driver Jeevanlal Saket told that he is a resident of Satna district, and had come to Byawari with an empty truck, at 9 pm he parked the truck at Van Vihar Dhaba and ate food at the Dhaba and went to sleep. The driver told that in other places drivers park their trucks in the same way, eat food at the Dhaba and take rest at night, and leave for their destination in the morning. Similarly, he did the same at Van Vihar Dhaba, but he did not know that diesel would be stolen from his truck at this Dhaba. When the driver came to know about the diesel theft in the morning, he got worried because he had to go to Satna after loading the goods, and there was not enough diesel left in his truck to go to his destination. The driver informed the employees present at the Dhaba about the matter but the Dhaba employees drove him away from there. And his words were also not heard. The troubled driver reached the police station and has given a complaint in writing at the police station. The police is investigating the matter. The graph of crime is increasing day by day in Byahari area, it is told that anti-social elements camp in Van Vihar Dhaba as soon as night falls. Alcohol is also stolen in the Dhaba as soon as night falls, police is aware of this matter but police hesitates to take action. Many times drunkards have also beaten up bus passengers here at night. This is the same Dhaba where a bag full of 37 lakh rupees of a passenger travelling in a bus was stolen from the bus, this incident happened last month, in this case police registered a case against the unknown accused and started searching for the thief but police is still empty handed.

Investigation is being done on diesel theft from truck. Police team continuously patrols the Dhabas at night and action will be taken against anti-social elements.
