Saharanpur | Deoband, Gurmat Sikhlai camp was formally concluded at Gurudwara Shri Guru Nanak Sabha. Judges of Deoband court, who reached Gurudwara Sahib with their families, honored 40 children who participated in the camp. Addressing the children in the program organized in Dashmesh Hall of Gurudwara Sahib, ADJ Vineet Vaswani of Civil Court Deoband said that a person connected to his culture and roots always progresses in life. He said that by coming to Deoband Gurudwara Sahib and meeting the children, he remembered his childhood when he used to go to Paonta Sahib and bow his head. ACJM Deoband S. Parvinder Singh said that turban is the identity of a Sikh. While teaching the children to work honestly in life and serve the elders, he said that such camps connect children to their heritage and culture. Civil Judge Prince Jindal congratulated the children and wished them a bright future. Baba Ranjit Singh Paniyali said that there is no age for learning; one should learn something or the other whenever one gets time in life. Head of Gurdwara Committee Seth Kuldeep Kumar expressed his gratitude to the judges, Singh Brothers Welfare Organisation and the Sangat. Before this, small children enthralled the Sangat by reciting Gurbani Kirtan and Paath. Charts made by the children by their own hands were also shown. Pracharak Bhai Gurjant Singh, Chairman of Singh Brothers Maninder Singh also addressed the program. It was conducted by Gurjot Singh Sethi. The guests honoured the 40 children who participated in the camp by giving them certificates, medals and mementos. On behalf of the Gurdwara Committee, the guests were honoured by giving them Siropas and mementos. During this time Dr. Ravi Prakash Khorana, Shyam Lal Bharti, Satish Girdhar, Sachin Chhabra, Virendra Singh Uppal, Baldeep Singh, Harvinder Singh Bedi, Yogesh Dahiya, Charanpreet Singh, Paramjit Singh, Sukhjinder Singh, Harsh Bharti, Ravindra Singh, Harjeet Singh, Jitendra Malhotra, Bhai Gurdayal Singh, Amandeep Singh etc. were present.
