A massive explosion took place in a chemical factory in Telangana's Sangareddy district on Monday (June 30). 35 people died in the reactor explosion. At the same time, many people are injured. The number of people who lost their lives in this accident is expected to increase. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has expressed grief over this incident. Also, an ex-gratia amount (compensation) of Rs 2 lakh has been announced for the families of the deceased in the Telangana chemical factory explosion.

Some workers died during treatment

Police officials said that six bodies were recovered from the spot. At the same time, some workers died during treatment in the hospital. In the video of the incident, it can be seen that the workers who came out of the factory were badly burnt.

Workers jumped in the air and went far away
Officials said that more than a dozen workers were injured in an explosion at a chemical factory in the Mailaram Phase 1 area near Sangareddy district of Telangana on Monday. As soon as the incident was reported, 11 fire engines reached the spot and started extinguishing the fire. A police officer said that the exact cause of the explosion is not yet known. After talking to the workers, he said, "The industrial shed was completely blown away in the explosion. The explosion was so strong that some workers jumped in the air and fell about 100 meters away."

100 workers were on duty

The chemical factory where the blast took place, prepares different types of chemicals. At the time of the incident, about 100 workers were working in the factory. A large number of people have been injured in the blast. However, so far 34 people have been injured and 15 have died. Officials say that the exact number of injured and dead will be known only after the rescue operation is over.

Telangana fire officials said, "The incident took place at Sigachi Pharma Company, Pasumalaaram Phase 1. 11 fire tenders reached the spot. Several workers were declared dead on arrival at the hospital after the incident.
