Merta Road (Rajasthan), 20 devotees who have devotion in the first two days of Navratra have been allowed in the sanctum sanctorum of the temple. They will now do devotion in the temple without food for seven days.

Navratra starts with special importance in the only divine power of the country and the world, Shri Brahmani Mata Mandir. Here, the Navratra festival starts with Ghatasthapana on the day of Amavasya. In the first two days, the devotees get permission to sit inside the sanctum sanctorum with devotion only on the basis of their conscience and the indirect order of the mother. This time 20 devotees have been allowed to sit inside with devotion. Now everyone will do devotion only by fasting without food and with the help of Charanamrit. On Monday night at 10 o'clock, during the tradition of Dua in Aarti, the name of a devotee from Shakadwipiya Brahmin community will be pronounced from the inner mouth of one of his devotees. The first Prasad from his house will be offered in the Aarti at 6 o'clock on Wednesday morning. Then with music and dance, he will take all these devotees to his home. This tradition is not seen in any divine temple of the country or the world. It is seen only in Brahmani Mata Temple on Merta Road. This time also devotees are coming in large numbers from states including Rajasthan, Maharashtra, Gujarat etc.
