Katni, Police has arrested 2 of the accused who attacked young businessman Rakesh Motwani 3 days ago in Katni Kotwali police station area. Search for the other accused is on. Police has announced a reward of 10 thousand on one of the arrested accused. Two days ago, residents and traders of Madhavnagar had stopped work and sat on a dharna for the arrest of the accused in the case of attack on the young businessman. Mudwara MLA had also reprimanded the police administration.

Superintendent of Police Abhijeet Kumar Ranjan, who reached Kotwali police station, said on the matter that there was an incident of assault on Madhavnagar resident youth Rakesh Motwani, in which the injured named 4 people, later told about 3-4 other people being involved in the incident. On the complaint of the victim, police has arrested one of the 4 accused, reward accused Neeraj alias Ketu Rajak and Armaan Dwivedi. During interrogation, these accused have also revealed the names of other people involved in the incident. A total of 7 accused were involved in this incident. The search for the remaining absconding accused is on and a reward of Rs. 10,000 each has been announced. Katni SP Abhijeet Ranjan also said that if the names of those who gave protection to all these accused and those who funded them are revealed, strict action will be taken against them. In the case of attack on the young businessman, two days ago, the residents and traders of Madhavnagar stopped work and sat on a dharna for the arrest of the accused, while the Mudwara MLA also reprimanded the police administration.
