A 180 kg gold plated Shri Ram Yantra made of Ashtadhatu has reached Katni district of Madhya Pradesh under a special religious event. This yantra reached Katni from Andhra Pradesh in a special chariot. The form of this chariot is no less than a temple, in which the form of Shri Kanchi Kamakoti Peetha is depicted. Pictures of Jagadguru and Mata Kamakshi Devi have been installed inside the chariot, and Shri Ram Yantra has been placed in front of them.

The chief priest of this yatra, Swami Ramchandra Maharaj, told that this yatra reached Katni district in 20 days after passing through five states. Shri Ram Beej Mantra is written in the yantra and it is surrounded by the mantras of gods and goddesses. The yantra has been prepared under the guidance of Jagadguru Swami Vijayendra, the 70th Peethadhipati of Kamakoti Peetha.

The specialty of Shri Ram Yantra is that this yantra has reached Katni via Jabalpur and now will go to Shri Ram Janmabhoomi temple in Ayodhya via Rewa, Prayagraj. There, Sahastra Chandi Vishwa Shanti Mahayagya and rituals will be organized for 45 days by more than 1200 Vedic Ritwiks. After this, this Mahayantra will be installed in the temple of God.
