Damoh, As per every year, this year also, under the aegis of Culture Department Bhopal, the country's oldest classical music festival, the 130th Mridangacharya Nana Saheb Panse Smriti Guru Purnima Music Festival will be held on 21st and 22nd July 2024 in village Bakayan of Damoh district under the chief hospitality of the State Minister of Culture, Tourism, Religious Trust and Religious Affairs (Independent Charge) Dharmendra Singh Lodhi, under the chairmanship of Minister of State (Independent Charge) of Animal Husbandry and Dairy Department Lakhan Patel and Panchayat and Rural Development Labor Minister Prahlad Singh Patel, MP Damoh Rahul Singh Lodhi, Chairman of Backward Classes State Welfare Commission Dr. Ramakrishna Kusmaria, former Finance Minister and MLA Jayant Kumar Malaiya and Hata MLA Uma Devi Khatik will attend as special guests. Guru Purnima Organizing Committee Chairman Vivek Shendye, Patron Arun Palanitkar and Convener Arjun Patel and Dr. Alok Sonwalkar have cordially invited everyone to the two-day musical gatherings being organized by Ustad Alauddin Khan Music and Arts Academy.

On the first day of the program, on 21st July 2024, in the evening session, after Swaranjali and traditional bandishes by the disciples of Bakayan Music Akhara, singing by Indrani Mukherjee Kolkata, Kathak duet dance by Alok-Dolly Delhi, sitar playing by Anirudh Joshi Pune/Bhopal and Kathak group dance by Nivedita Pandya Indore will be presented.

Similarly, on 22nd July, evening temple session will be held from 04 pm and night session will be held from 08:30 pm. Traditional compositions will be presented by the disciples of Bakayan Music Akhara, Mohan Veena recital by Pt. Satish Khanwalkar, ODC group dance by Roslina Sundaray, singing by Vinay Ramdasan and group Kathak dance by Bhairavi Vishwaroop.
